"The Dirty Dozen" will bring French and German writers to Babenhausen as guests, where they will paint a large space during the
town twinning festival in Babenhausen.
The Babenhausen Old Town Festival is taking place for the 45th time, a large traditional town centre festival in Babenhausen with a great children's program.
There's also a large Lego railway in the town mill, a merchants' mile, live music from various clubs and Das Dreckige Dutzend!
There will also be an open Sunday and a large exhibition of tractors and historic lorries at the Tractor Friends behind the town mill.

Babenhausen
Babenhausen in Hesse - close to the Frankfurt-Rhine-Main metropolitan region - offers cultural, leisure and health facilities. One of the popular attractions is Babenhausen Castle, which emerged from a medieval moated castle and served successively as a residence and administrative centre. It was founded around 1200, has been in private hands since 1981 and is currently being remodelled.
Half-timbered houses
Babenhausen, which belonged to the Lordship of Hanau and was first mentioned in documents in 1211, was granted town privileges by King Adolf von Nassau in 1295, before Hanau and Darmstadt. A lot has happened since then, and there is a lot to discover in the historic centre of Babenhausen: The witches' tower is the town's landmark and is located right next to the town wall. The oldest house dates back to 1461 and completes the beautiful ensemble. The Breschturm tower and the market square with its noble patrician houses are also worth a visit.
