The Sparkasse is also involved in many other ways. For the common good, the region and the people who live here. Many clubs and initiatives in the areas of sport, culture and social affairs are regularly supported by the Sparkasse. The Sparkasse is regularly active in the youth sector. In the classic stock market simulation game, pupils learn how the world of funds and shares works.
In addition, your Sparkasse supports numerous events, for example the Hanau Citizens' Festival, city runs or cultural highlights such as the Brothers Grimm Festival - either directly or via the Sparkasse Hanau Foundation.
The Sparkasse Hanau Foundation has also supported the "Willy Bissing Competition" for many years. Young musical talents are spurred on to top performances. That is something to be proud of.

Rotary Club Hanau

Founded in 1957 – Chartered in 1958 Our club was founded on September 24, 1957, under the direction of the RC Darmstadt, with the first meeting held at the former Hanauer Hof, now the headquarters of the Sparkasse Hanau training center.

One of the goals of R.I. is to promote understanding and friendship among peoples. Within the Rotary Foundation program, we also help with major global Rotary projects, such as the fight against polio, and have been supporting student exchanges in several countries for many years.

Many objects accompany our club's history like a common thread. They reflect the different eras and how priorities were set. Of particular note is our support for children in SOS Children's Villages since the organization was founded by Hermann Gmeiner, also a Rotarian, in 1969.

The Walther family winery was founded in 1934 by the master wheelwright and wainwright Heinrich Walther.
